C.A.D. Schools
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is
used in many industries today to vigorously stimulate the production of designs,
visuals, graphics, blueprints and engineering plans. In CAD schools, students are
taught how to use the computer as a tool for tasks such as 2-D drafting, 3-D modeling
and simple CAD related programming. In addition, students learn advanced techniques
such as solving design problems, attribute management and symbol library creation
and usage, as well as an emphasis on mathematics. Courses include introductory drafting
and electrical, mechanical and architectural applications on a variety of software
and platforms. Graduates of the program are qualified as CAD operators and technologists.
