Film Production
Schools
It takes talent, creativity, and
a lot of pure technical skills to create a good film or a documentary. Film production
college teaches the history and theory as well as the creative and technical aspects
of the moving image. You will learn how to direct and shoot. You will study the theory
and engage in the practice of screenwriting, script development, cinematography,
directing, editing, producing, pre and post production, and editing. You will also
acquire technical skills in camera, sound and lighting. Lastly, as a budding filmmaker,
you will explore the business side of film production: budgeting, crewing, casting,
scheduling, negotiating contracts, acquiring permits, and preparing for postproduction
such as marketing and distribution.
