& Broadcasting
The radio broadcasting and production
course prepares you for a career in taped and live radio broadcasting. You will learn
hard news reporting, interviewing, writing for radio, and voicing. You will receive
vocal coaching, voice and speech technique and lectures in radio programming, commercial
production, news, voice-overs, sports casting, copywriting, music programming, station
management, and broadcast sales. Radio students learn their craft on a combination
of digital and analog equipment. The radio broadcasting and production course is
designed to give students an extensive working knowledge of the radio broadcasting
process so that graduates can fill a number of positions at radio stations, production
houses, and entertainment studios.
