In video production school, you will learn the theory and practice of video production: research, screenwriting, scripting, budgeting, directing, producing, camera operating, editing and presenting. In addition, you will also develop skills in managing location and studio production, and understand the relationship between video and broadcast television. Using multimedia technologies, students will learn how to edit footage and add special audio and visual effects. You will also be engaged in the pre-production, production, post-production, and audience reception areas of video production. Lastly, you will learn about distribution and rights management. Graduates move on to entertainment studios, edutainment industries and a variety of other corporations.
